Yeaaaah! It finally happened. Bizarre Creations has confirmed that Project Gotham Racing 4 will feature motorbikes. But the robotic horses will be heavily stylised and the emphasis will be on fun rather than realistic and difficult handling. Therefore you'll be able to pull off insane stunts on the motorbike by hitting the well-known "Stunt Button" and for that you'll earn Kudos points.

Bizarre tells us that they plan to reveal all the motorbikes in new videos over the coming weeks - once they get a greenlight from publisher Microsoft.

Wrooom wrooom. EA has announced the next game in the Need For Speed series. The new game is a street-racing based adventure game and is called ProStreet. It will hit Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Wii, DS, PS2, PSP and mobiles this autumn.

Canada-based EA Black Box is developing it and the franchise will yet again be rubbing shoulders with the underground racing world. The developers promise that the graphics have undergone an overhaul and look literally jaw-dropping. Every crash and bump will leave scratches on your car - which is fully customizable. There will also be "a revolutionary online mode that will redefine the meaning of competitive social play".

Larry LaPierre, execute producer of the game, says:

"Need for Speed ProStreet accelerates street racing culture by providing the ultimate stage for the pursuit of supremacy. This is a game about building the ultimate performance-tuned battle machine, taking it to multi-disciplinary showdowns all over the world and pitting your skills and reputation against the very best street racers."

Now we just have to wait.

I have played the third game a lot, so I really look forward to the fourth installment of the racing game. There are over 200 racetracks in Project Gotham Racing 4 from ten different locations and of course a broader set of vehicles. Here is a link to the first screenshots from the game.

Capcom is planning a new counterpart to the popular MotoGP motorbike racing series from THQ. Up to now the development of this rival series has been at Namco. The game is called MotoGP '07 and we're expecting it to be released across Europe on at least PS2 this autumn, and probably the PS3 and PSP versions to follow. THQ develops their version of MotoGP for Xbox 360 and PC.

MotoGP consists of 18 Grand Prix, featuring bikes from all the top manufacturers and riders like Nicky Hayden and Valentino Rossi. Just by saying motorbike gives Chris the shivers. He loves those babies, so this is most certainly a game that could get very interesting. We'll keep a watchful eye on it.

Microsoft Game Studios have confirmed that a demo for Forza Motorsport 2 will be arriving "soon" at Xbox Live Marketplace. The game's release date have also been scheduled for release on May 15.
