Guitar Hero II has just been released for the Xbox 360, and while the PS2 received great reviews the slightly updated 360 version seems to get even better reviews. It seems that the new guitar controller based on the Gibson X-Plorer brand, and the addition of 10 new tracks from Iron Maiden, Rancid, Pearl Jam and more are to thank for that.

I was considering getting the PS2 version when it was released, but then they announced a Xbox 360 version would be released later on, so eventually I decided to wait. Now, I was hoping they would be adding online multiplayer modes, but it looks like I'm gonna have to do without. Also, why not do a wireless controller when the Xbox 360 supports it? Of course it would probably be a little more expensive, but come on guys...

Anyway, enough yapping, I haven't even had my hands on the game yet. Here's the roundup.
